The size requirements for passport photos may vary depending on the country you’re applying in. Always be sure to contact your embassy or check instructions on paperwork you are filling out to determine size and type of passport/visa photos you need.
Unfortunately, most people assume all passport photos are the same size which is not true. Most applications are rejected due to wrong size photo. So please be sure to tell us what size photo you need.
There are currently about 12 different passport photos sizes with various head dimension requirements. Also, these requirements change from time to time. If size is not specified on your application form, it is best to check with your embassy to make sure of the size they currently require.
U.S. Passport Photos
